Only tree branches, tree limbs and other shrubbery shall be placed on the City Burn Pile. No lumber, building materials, tires, paper waste, building demolition products, or any other item shall be placed on the City Burn Pile. Burn Pile privileges shall only be for materials originating within the city limits.

Any person violating any section of this article may be prosecuted in Municipal Court of the City of Goessel, Kansas. Upon conviction, there shall be a fine of not less than $100.00 for the first offense and a fine of not less than $300.00 for a second and subsequent offenses.

In addition to the penalty set out above, the offending party may be ordered to remove the items illegally disposed of and/or pay the cost of such clean up. It is not necessary for the offending party to be convicted prior to the Court ordering site be cleaned up.
