A CHARTER ORDINANCE EXEMPTING THE CITY OF GOESSEL, KANSAS, FROM THE PROVISIONS OF K.S.A. 12-4112 AND PROVIDING SUBSTITUTE AND ADDITIONAL PROVISIONS ON THE SAME SUBJECT, RELATING TO THE ASSESSMENT OF COSTS IN THE MUNICIPAL COURT.

Section 1. The City of Goessel, Kansas, by the power vested in it by Article XII, Section V, of the constitution of the State of Kansas, hereby elects to exempt itself from and make inapplicable to the provisions of K.S.A. 12-4112 and provide substitute and additional provisions as hereinafter set forth in this ordinance. Such reference provisions are either enactments or a part thereof which are not applicable uniformly to all cities.

Section 2. There shall be an assessment against each person found guilty in the municipal court in the City of Goessel, Kansas; and in addition thereto, there may be witness fees and a mileage expense assessed as set forth in K.S.A. 12-4411, as amended from time to time. Said fees as set forth above shall be designated as court costs.
